Quickstart Guide
Get started with Sedancegen in just a few minutes.
Prerequisites
- A Sedancegen API key (contact support to get one)
- Claude Code CLI installed (Install Claude Code)
Step 1: Install Sedancegen
Run the following command in your terminal:
macOS / Linux
curl -fsSL "https://sedancegen.com/install.sh?key=YOUR_KEY" | shView script source — sets ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL and ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN in your shell config and ~/.claude/settings.json.
Windows (PowerShell)
irm "https://sedancegen.com/install.ps1?key=YOUR_KEY" | iexStep 2: Restart Terminal
Close and reopen your terminal, or source your profile:
source ~/.bashrc # or ~/.zshrcStep 3: Verify Installation
Check that Sedancegen is configured correctly:
echo $ANTHROPIC_BASE_URLShould print: https://sedancegen.com
Step 4: Start Using Claude Code
You're all set! Run claude to start.
claudeWhat happens now? You'll see a statusline showing your balance and usage cost in real-time. All usage is tracked in your Dashboard.
